electriQ 90cm Glass Canopy Cooker Hood - White

Designed to offer practicality and style for your kitchen, this cooker hood is the perfect solution for your extraction needs, quickly banishing unwanted cooking smells and catching and trapping airborne grease. With a maximum extraction rate of 587 m³/h, this canopy hood is ideal for a medium- to large-sized kitchen, eradicating lingering odours and steam created as you cook. Semi-integrated into your kitchen, this simple yet extremely stylish design helps to save space.

The cooker hood features a stunning, glass front in a clean white shade with easy-to-use touch controls and LED lighting that provides you with an evenly lit hob as you cook. It's adaptable to suit your kitchen's layout and your choice, with the option to extract or recirculate the air. The extraction method requires more installation as the air needs to be vented outside, removing steam and odour completely. Recirculation is more convenient for kitchens where the cooker or hob is installed on an inside wall. This method requires carbon filters, which can be bought separately.

Question from Luke: Asked on 14/06/2026 What wattage is this?

Answer from JoseBacud: Answered on 15/06/2026

Hi Luke,The electriQ EIQ90CANGWL cooker hood doesn’t have a single fixed wattage because its power varies by fan speed, but it typically uses around 100–250 watts in operation, with only a few extra watts for the lights. Thanks!

Question from Matthew: Asked on 04/03/2026 Hi does this have a plug on the end of it to plug in or does it need to be hard wired?
Thankyou

Answer from JimsonGuzman: Answered on 04/03/2026

Hi, This cooker hood is supplied without a plug and must be hard-wired to the mains by a qualified electrician.

Thank you.

Question from Jonathan Henry: Asked on 04/03/2026 How can I install this if I wish to remove it on a periodic basis as the four spring loaded clips only appear to work one way

Answer from JimsonGuzman: Answered on 04/03/2026

Hi, The electriQ 90?cm Glass Canopy Cooker Hood can be safely removed for cleaning or maintenance by first unscrewing the 4 screws on the outer glass frame to release the spring-loaded clips. The hood itself is secured with screws in the cabinet, which can be replaced with captive or thumb screws for easy removal in the future. All electrical connections should be labeled and safely managed. The hood must always be supported when loosening screws to prevent damage or injury.

Thank you.

Question from Kat: Asked on 18/01/2026 Can I remove the filter on this and put it in the dishwasher (or wash it by hand)?

Answer from JimsonGuzman: Answered on 19/01/2026

Hi, The metal grease filters on the ElectriQ 90cm Glass Canopy Cooker Hood can be removed and cleaned either by hand with warm, soapy water or in the dishwasher. Any carbon filters cannot be washed and need to be replaced when needed. Always disconnect the hood from the power before cleaning.

Thank you.

Question from Mark: Asked on 19/10/2025 Is it remote control

Answer from RogelReyes: Answered on 20/10/2025

Hi Mark, it does not have remote control functionality. It is operated using the built-in touch controls on the front of the hood. Thank you.

Question from Shazma Ejaz: Asked on 18/09/2025 How much clearance do I need between the cooker and the hood. As some places say 650mm for gas and some say 700.

Answer from JimsonGuzman: Answered on 18/09/2025

Hi, For the electriQ 90cm Glass Canopy Cooker Hood (model EIQ90CANGWL), the recommended minimum clearance between the cooking surface and the bottom of the hood is 650mm for electric hobs and 750mm for gas hobs. This is to ensure safe operation and compliance with safety standards. Installing the hood lower than these distances can pose a fire risk.

Thank you.
