electriQ 90cm Glass Canopy Cooker Hood - Black
Designed to offer practicality and style for your kitchen, this cooker hood is the perfect solution for your extraction needs, quickly banishing unwanted cooking smells and catching and trapping airborne grease. With a maximum extraction rate of 587 m³/h, this canopy hood is ideal for a medium- to large-sized kitchen, eradicating lingering odours and steam created as you cook. Semi-integrated into your kitchen, this simple yet extremely stylish design helps to save space.
The cooker hood features a stunning, glass front in a sleek black finish with easy-to-use touch controls and LED lighting that provides you with an evenly lit hob as you cook. It's adaptable to suit your kitchen's layout and your choice, with the option to extract or recirculate the air. The extraction method requires more installation as the air needs to be vented outside, removing steam and odour completely. Recirculation is more convenient for kitchens where the cooker or hob is installed on an inside wall. This method requires carbon filters, which can be bought separately.

Question from Rebecca: Asked on 16/07/2026 I've had this cooker hood installed into a fake chimney breast, can I still install the carbon filters or is it too late?
Hi, yes, carbon filters can still be fitted after installation as long as you can access the underside of the hood and remove the grease filters. The filters fit onto the motor behind the grease filters, so the fake chimney breast should not be an issue unless it blocks access. Please note, carbon filters are only required if the hood is being used in recirculation mode rather than vented externally.
Thank you.
Question from Sal: Asked on 14/06/2026 What is the warranty on this item please?

Question from Shane: Asked on 26/05/2026 Can this be used in the ceiling
Hi Shane,The electriQ 90cm Glass Canopy Cooker Hood (EIQ90CANGBLL) can be used in a ceiling-style setup only if it is installed inside a proper boxed-in structure or false ceiling that acts like a cabinet, but it is not designed for direct flush mounting into a ceiling or between joists. Thanks!
Question from Darren: Asked on 30/04/2026 One picture shows the front plate in the open position. I assume this is to access the filter rather than having to open it during use? Darren
Hi, The front glass panel on the electriQ 90cm Glass Canopy Cooker Hood (EIQ90CANGBLL) is designed to provide access to the grease and optional carbon filters, as well as the LED lights. It is not intended to be opened during normal operation. The panel should only be opened when performing maintenance tasks such as cleaning or replacing the filters or changing the bulbs. Always ensure the hood is switched off and disconnected from the power supply before opening the panel.
Thank you.
Question from Mary: Asked on 10/03/2026 Can the led lights be changed to warm white ?
Hi Mary,The LED lights on the electriQ 90cm Glass Canopy Cooker Hood (EIQ90CANGBLL) cannot be changed to warm white, as they are integrated into the hood and not designed to be replaced. The existing LEDs are neutral or cool white. Thanks!
Question from Katie: Asked on 28/12/2025 Can this be fitted in a kitchen mantle?
Hi Katie,The **electriQ 90cm Glass Canopy Cooker Hood** can be installed under a kitchen cabinet or within a mantel/cupboard space above your hob. It is a semi-integrated unit, so while it fits inside the cupboard, the front panel will extend slightly below the cabinetry. To install it properly, your cupboard should have an internal depth of at least **32?cm** and a cut-out width of around **88?cm**. If your mantle is shallower than this, the hood may need to be recessed or the cabinetry adjusted. Thanks!
Question from Adam: Asked on 25/11/2025 Does the extractor “cover” come off for installation and removal to access the clips that support the unit
Hi Adam, yes, the canopy cover on this canopy hood can be removed. By unscrewing the screws on the outer glass frame, the cover lifts off, giving access to the internal clips and mounting points for installation or maintenance. This allows safe and straightforward handling of the unit during fitting or removal. Thank you.
Question from Krzysztof: Asked on 22/11/2025 HI ,What is the minimum distance between hood and indukcion hob.

Question from Gaz: Asked on 10/11/2025 What colour are the L.E.D lights in this hood, are they cool white?
Hi Gaz, this hood features 2x1.5W LED lights, which are typically neutral to cool white in colour, providing bright, clear illumination for cooking. Thank you.
Question from ducting: Asked on 14/10/2025 does it need ducting system to send the smells/steam outside or can it be used without a ducting system fixed to it.
Hi, this canopy hood can be used without a ducting system in recirculation mode, but this requires carbon filters to trap odors. Ducting to the outside is optional for full extraction. Thank you.
Question from Graham: Asked on 12/10/2025 Can this hood be installed between joists so it is flush in the ceiling rather than installed in a cupboard?
Hi,The ElectriQ EIQ90CANGBLL is designed as a semi-integrated/built-in hood for cupboards, making it impractical and unsafe to install flush into a ceiling or between joists without major structural modifications like building a deep bulkhead. For a truly flush or hidden look, it is highly recommended to select a canopy or ceiling hood specifically designed for flush-mount installation. Thanks!
