With a powerful 690mh3 extraction rate, it quickly removes unwanted cooking odours and steam from the air and is ideal for large sized kitchens. The A++ energy rating means this hood operates efficiently and helps to keep energy costs low. The simple touch controls allow you to adjust fan speeds easily and the two LED lights provide bright, energy efficient lighting for your cooking area. Additionally, this hood features an automatic function we call Hob to Hood. This means it can detect the heat coming from your cooking through thermal sensors, and it will automatically adjust itself to the fan speed required. We’ve also included an air cleaning function, which will continue cleaning your air for an hour after you have finished cooking.

Hi, For your electriQ 90cm Island Hood, the carbon filter should be replaced every 3 to 6 months, depending on how often you cook. The filter can’t be washed, so changing it on time keeps your kitchen smelling fresh and the hood working efficiently.

Hi, The electriQ 90cm Island Hood (model eiQISLANDSLIMBK) is designed to vent externally or operate in recirculation mode. The duct connects to the top of the hood and can be routed horizontally if needed, for example through a boxed-in chimney or soffit, as long as airflow is not restricted. Any boxed-in ducting should allow access for cleaning. It should be carried out by a qualified installer to ensure optimal performance.

How is this connected to the ceiling?
Hi,The electriQ 90cm Island Hood is ceiling-mounted and requires a secure installation. It is fixed to a strong hanging board or frame attached to the ceiling, which must be able to support the weight of the hood, chimney, and ducting. A 170?mm hole is cut in the ceiling for the duct, and the hood body is then attached to the supporting frame. The outer chimney slides over the duct to give a clean finish, and the hood should hang approximately 65–75?cm above the hob for safe and effective operation.Thanks!
