However, it is a dual fuel appliance, so while the electric oven functions plug in normally, the gas hob must be installed and connected by a qualified Gas Safe registered engineer.

Hi, The electriQ 60cm Dual Fuel Cooker (EQDFSC60BK) does not include a gas hose or pipe. The cooker will arrive ready for installation; however, the gas connection must be completed by a qualified Gas Safe engineer. This ensures the installation is safe, fully compliant with regulations.
In short, the cooker cannot be directly connected to your gas supply without a Gas Safe engineer fitting the appropriate hose and making the connection to your kitchen gas outlet.

Connecting the electric part yourself using the supplied plug, while ensuring correct and safe gas installation, does not invalidate the manufacturer’s warranty as long as installation follows the manufacturer’s instructions.
