Hi Elaine,The electriQ EIQSLIM90LEDMAXBK cooker hood should be installed with the bottom of the hood at least 65 cm above the surface of an induction hob, unless the hob manufacturer specifies a greater minimum clearance.Thanks!

Hi, The electriQ EIQSLIM90LEDMAX / EIQSLIM90LEDMAXBK cooker hood is a Class I appliance and must be connected to an earthed power supply. It is not double insulated (Class II) and therefore requires a protective earth connection for safe operation.

However, its “E”-rated grease filter efficiency means the filter requires regular cleaning or replacement to maintain optimal performance.Thanks!
