Question from Sean: Asked on 20/11/2025 Hi , your previous models from a couple of years back used to have a
UVC filtration option. I've not seen this mentioned on this model; do any of your other ElectriQ dehumidifiers still have this option?
Hi Sean,The ElectriQ CD25PRO-LE dehumidifier includes UV sterilisation with HEPA and carbon filters, so the UVC filtration option is still available in this model. Thanks!
Question from Sheila: Asked on 20/11/2025 Does this have a built in heater aswell?
Hi Sheila,The electriQ Platinum CD25PRO-LE 25L Low-Energy Smart Laundry Dehumidifier does not have a built-in heater; it functions purely as a dehumidifier. Thanks!
Question from Ita: Asked on 19/11/2025 ElectricQ platinum dehumidifier can extract 25 L a day with 4L tank ???
Also,, How to set up this equipment, level of difficulty. Please
Hi,The **electriQ Platinum CD25PRO-LE** dehumidifier can extract **up to 25L per day**, but its **4L tank** needs to be emptied multiple times a day. Setting it up is easy: place it on a flat surface, set your desired humidity, and either empty the tank manually or use continuous drainage for convenience. It's a low-energy, easy-to-use unit with straightforward maintenance. Thanks!
Question from InG: Asked on 16/11/2025 Can it placed very close to the wall?
Hi, This dehumidifier must not be placed directly against a wall. For correct airflow and optimal performance, the CD25PRO-LE requires a minimum clearance of 20 cm around the unit. Installing it too close to a wall can restrict air intake and outlet flow, which may reduce efficiency and affect operation.
Thank you.
Question from Lisa: Asked on 12/11/2025 I read in the instructions to wait 10 minutes before restarting the dehumidifier as it is a compressor type, but when you choose different settings it starts and stops on its own, is this bad for it? How can you avoid it if you want to change from laundry mode to smart or dehumidifier?
Hi Lisa, switching between modes on this compressor dehumidifier is safe. The unit has an internal delay to protect the compressor, so it can start and stop automatically without causing damage. The 10-minute wait applies only when the unit has been completely turned off and you want to restart it, not when changing modes. You can change modes freely without waiting, just avoid repeatedly turning the unit fully off and on in quick succession. Thank you.
Question from Paul: Asked on 07/11/2025 Hi,
If you time it to stay on for say, two hours, does the fan shut off when the timer runs out or is it just the compressor that shuts down?
Also, noise levels for the 20 and 25 versions of this model are the same, but the 25 pushes more air across the coils, wouldn't this make it slightly louder from this aspect alone?
Many Thanks.
Hi Paul,When you set the timer on the electriQ 25?L dehumidifier, the entire unit—including both compressor and fan—shuts off when the timer ends, and although the 25?L model moves more air than the 20?L, it’s engineered so that the noise levels remain essentially the same, meaning any increase in sound from higher airflow is minimal. Thanks!
