Hi Debbie,The electriQ A1EQRange90SINDX 90cm electric range cooker requires a dedicated, hardwired connection and cannot be used with a standard 13A socket because its substantial power load of 13.9kW (approximately 60.4 amps at 230V) necessitates a properly protected, suitable circuit.Thanks!
